🎓 I am a graduate of Reed College who studied art and computer science with a passion for UI/UX and web design. I love creating designs that are simple yet intuitive, valuing the user's comfort and ensuring they never feel overwhelmed. I thrive on blending colors, shapes, and typography to craft visually engaging interfaces, and I'm always exploring ways to improve user flows, accessibility, and overall experience. 🎨 My approach combines creativity with usability, making products that look great also feel effortless to use. EXPERIENCES
April 2022
At Brother's Buffet, I designed and developed a restaurant website using front-end development, GitHub, and Figma that reflected the restaurant's modern atmosphere while maintaining its established branding and color palette. I continuef to iterate designs and maintain real-time website updates by closely communicating with the restaurant staff.
August 2023
For the Reed College Senate, I built and maintained an institutional student government website that organized its announcements, meeting notes, events, and resources into an accessible experience through wireframing, prototyping, and front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
June 2024
HeyJTree is an interactive conservation-focused website that connects people with Joshua trees across the Mojave Desert through digital storytelling and tree profiles. I redesigned the web and mobile interfaces using Figma, while using full-stack development in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to improve website performance.
